Jive Revive
Tara has a background in Ballroom and Latin American dance styles. Steve on the other hand could only ‘dad dance’ prior to 2006. Since learning the Lindy Hop together they have taken many classes and workshops with many fantastic teachers. They take every opportunity to go to live music events, weekenders and dance festivals. Through the dance scene they have made some very good friends and many acquaintances.
They moved into teaching to enable them to share their enthusiasm of Lindy Hop and Jive. Their classes enable students to get the most out of them by sticking to solid teaching principles but are fun and friendly at the same time. Keen to impart their knowledge, their classes follow a show, explain and do structure. Emphasis is placed on lead and follow to enable their students to dance socially anywhere with anybody.
